Come Meet Our Instructors!

Cookie started Jazzercise as a student in May 1989 and quickly became a class manager. In March of 1995, Cookie became an instructor and opened classes in Niantic, after a year the classes moved to Waterford where they were for 10 years. During spring of 2006, with the classes out growing the current location, it was time to open the center. Cookie lives in Old Lyme with her husband and has two grown sons and a granddaughter.

Linda joined Jazzercise in April 1998 and became an Associate Instructor in February 2000. Linda grew up and presently lives in Waterford, Connecticut. She has two wonderful children; an 8 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. Working from home and raising her children, keeps Linda very busy when she is not Jazzercising.

Dinah has been Jazzercising since the fall of 2000. She started as a student in Deep River and became certified as an instructor in March of 2003. She lives in Old Lyme and has two grown sons, Sean and Ryan. Working full time at the U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center as a Contracting Officer.

Karen has been a student with with Jazzersice for seven years, and became a certified instructor July of 2007. She works full time as a Program Manager for an Aerospace Manufacturer in East Lyme. With her two boys now grown, leaves her time to enjoy teaching Jazzercise several times a week.

Marjorie has been taking Jazzercise classes since 1988 and became a certified instructor this past year. An elementary school teacher, Marjorie is currently home raising her two young daughters. When she is not dancing, Marjorie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking, gardening and riding her horse.

Beth began as a Jazzercise student in Deep River in the winter of 2004. She enjoyed it so much that she became a certified instructor that same summer. Beth lives in Madison and works full time teaching first grade at Essex Elementary School. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking and dancing.
